About Us

Thirty-four thousand reviews averaging 4.5 stars don't happen by accident. Sphere at 255 Sands Ave is a 366-foot-tall orb that redefined what a show can do to a human nervous system. Guests who came for The Wizard of Oz Experience describe the same thing over and over: the moment the visuals wrapped around them and they stopped watching the story and started living inside it.

The technology powering that feeling is unlike anything else on the planet. The interior display spans the largest LED screen ever built, curving overhead and to every side, while a haptic system built into every seat lets you feel the wind, the rain, and the rumble of a Kansas twister. You are not an audience member here. You are a participant.

Located just steps from the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, NV 89169, Sphere is open every day of the week. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned Strip regular who thought they had seen it all, this is the experience that changes the benchmark.

What We Offer

The flagship offering right now is The Wizard of Oz Experience, a full immersive reimagining of the classic film that floods every inch of the dome with Technicolor visuals so vivid that multiple reviewers have compared it to stepping through the screen itself. The haptic seating, spatial audio, and 4D environmental effects work together to make Dorothy's journey feel genuinely physical.

Beyond the current show, Sphere hosts major concert residencies, special events, and one-of-a-kind productions that can only exist inside this format. No flat screen, no proscenium arch, no limits. The venue's production team builds shows specifically for the dome's geometry, meaning every seat is the best seat.

Tickets and show schedules are available at thesphere.com, and the box office and venue are accessible daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Arrive early to take in the exterior, one of the most photographed structures in Nevada.

Why Choose Us

"The Sphere in Las Vegas is a must-visit, no matter what event is being hosted there. We attended The Wizard of Oz, and it was simply amazing! The visuals were incredibly vivid, with stunning colors that brought the story to life and made you feel like you were part of the experience. The immersive effects—including sound, scents, and even wind—created an unforgettable atmosphere that truly transported you into the movie. I was also impressed by how smoothly the venue operated. The employees were friendly, organized, and consistently guided guests throughout the venue, helping everyone get to their seats efficiently and ensuring a seamless exit so the next audience could be seated. The entire experience was well-coordinated from start to finish. If you’re visiting Las Vegas, make sure to add the Sphere to your itinerary. It’s an experience unlike any other and one you won’t soon forget! Our hotel was in walking distance, which was even better."

"This was pretty cool!! lol, we sat in the very last row so I didn’t feel a lot of the imax effects but - also didn’t feel the vertigo and felt like I had more space than others so that was nice! (Our seats did shake too!) it was nice to see the visual as a whole, while we came for no doubt, we wanted to experience the artistic endeavor of the building itself as well. The acoustics were great too! Everything was very clear. The space looks pretty neat inside, and getting into the venue was smooth- they didn’t hassle you like other venues with their policies and it was pretty quick going through everything, lots of options for alcohol, bathrooms etc. At the end of the night they did make us climb down a crowded steep stairwell like 16 flights or something with hundreds of people and I felt like that wasn’t super smooth. They also directed you down a specific street so if you are walking somewhere after the show you might be in the wrong place from where you wanted to be. If you sit in 300- early row 400 sections you might get some foam balls they drop during several events. Lots of special visuals are created for the show itself but there are spots for the artists to pop up for live feeds too since you’re pretty far away from the stage. If you’re going for No Doubt check out the No Doubt experience at the Venetian for more memorabilia. I guess they are connected with the sphere so they might do this type of thing with other bands too, adds a special touch for fans."

"I recently visited the Sphere in Las Vegas, and it truly lived up to the hype. Yes, the ticket prices are definitely on the higher side but honestly, the overall experience was well worth it. The visuals are absolutely mind-blowing, and the scale of the screen and sound system is something you really have to experience in person to fully appreciate. Occasionally there are objects that drop down from the ceiling to provide a fully immersive experience in a way that regular theaters just can’t match. One thing I’d recommend is arriving early. There’s a lot to see and do before the show starts — plenty of photo opportunities inside and outside the venue, plus food and drinks available. If you’re interested in merchandise, there’s also an after-show setup on the main floor where merch is sold, which makes it easy to browse once everything wraps up. One small downside: the escalator ride took quite a while since I was seated pretty far back in the venue, so exiting wasn’t super quick. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you’re in a rush afterward. Overall, despite the premium pricing and minor logistical delays, the Sphere delivers a next-level entertainment experience that’s absolutely worth checking out at least once."
